The Speakers:
Mac is the Vice President of Business Banking at Regions Bank. He specializes in manufacturing banking and financing needs but also focuses on corporate structures, fraud prevention and overall strategies. Mac has over 30 years of experience as a senior financial manager and a CPA.
Laurie serves a wide variety of industries and small businesses. Her area of expertise is sales / use, budgeting and forecasting. She is also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Laurie has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Fontbonne University and Master of Business Administration from Webster University.
Allan is the Managing Partner and has been with Lopata, Flegel & Company since its inception in 1990. He has focused on serving owner-managed clients in manufacturing, distributing, retail and service industries. Allan’s area of expertise is primarily in the areas of tax accounting, auditing, ERISA, financial reporting and business planning. Allan received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accounting Science from University of Illinois- Champaign/Urbana. Allan is a member of the AICPA, MSCPA, and Audit Quality Center for ERISA.
Patti focuses on both tax planning and compliance for a wide range of clients, including manufacturing and wholesale distributors. Her areas of specialty are research tax credits, evaluation of transaction costs, and analysis of fixed-assets. Patti graduated from Butler University with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.Friday January 9th, 2015
